George Miller of Bristol and His Witness to a Prayer-Hearing God is a biography of George Miller written by Arthur Tappan (A.T.) Pierson was published in 1899 following Miller's death in 1898. The book highlights the Kingdom work Miller achieved in his 92 years. Miller devoted his time and energies to caring for people, particularly children. He began several schools, ran an orphanage, and worked tirelessly for the cause of missions. He put Bibles in the hands of tens of thousands of people. The scriptures were the basis of many of his prayers as he reminded God of His promises. Miller lived by faith, literally depending on God's provision for daily needs rather than a set salary.
