Expositor's Bible: The Book of Job

Expositor's Bible: The Book of Job (1900) is part of the original fifty volumes known as The Expositor's Bible, edited by W. Robertson Nicoll. This exposition of Job is done by Robert A. Watson. The introductory Prologue familiarizes the reader with the author of Job as well as the earthly and heavenly settings revealed in the book of Job. Watson also acknowledges the active"hand of God" and man's struggle with"Faith." Chapters 3 through 31 are divided into three colloquies by Watson. Elihu's intervention is discussed in the fifth section of the book, followed by the concluding chapters, once again revealing the hand of God through His majesty and sovereignty. This work includes an index of people and topics relative to the interpretation of the Book of Job.
