Works of Dr. John Tillotson, Volume VII (1820) is a collection of sermons by Tillotson who was the Archbishop of Canterbury from 1691-1694. The first series of sermons expound upon God’s power, mercy, eternity, patience, and goodness. Several sermons reflect on the effects of sin and the call to repentance. The final three sermons in this volume delve into the immortality of one’s soul. In addition to his sermons, there are indexes of the scriptures referenced, Greek words and phrases used as well as Latin words and phrases.
