Biography
Burnett Hillman (B.H.) Streeter became a renowned Anglican theologian. Born in England in 1874, Streeter attended The Queen’s College and was ordained in the Church of England. Not only did he go on to become a professor but also the Provost of his alma mater. Streeter authored several books on religion and the New Testament. One of Streeter’s works was The Four Gospels: A Study of Origins (1924). Streeter also developed a “solution” to the “synoptic problem” with his “four-document hypothesis.” Streeter and his wife tragically died in a plane crash in 1937.Wailand Groenendyk
