Religious Poems

Religious Poems (1896) by Harriet Beecher Stowe is a compilation of her original poetry. The book is laid out in three sections. The first is a set of general topic poems such as “Mary at the Cross” and “The Old Psalm Tune.” The second set of poems is listed under the heading, “Hours of the Night” and has titles such as “Midnight” and “Day Dawn.” Four poems make up the final section with the heading “Pressed Flowers from Italy.”
