Complete Works of Menno Simon Volume 1

by Menno Simons

Summary

Menno Simons' prominence as a leader of the Anabaptist movement came somewhat as a result of his prolificacy. Being one of the few Radical Reformers who did not face an early martyr's death, he had much more time to write and develop his ideas. His complete works include his magnum opus The Foundation of Christian Doctrine, essays, devotionals, letters, and tracts. Even a brief skim of his work can lead to much greater appreciation and understanding of both early Anabaptism and the contemporary Mennonite tradition.
