Shann, this book has pretty much everything one would like to know about the practices and terminology associated with the Orthodox Eastern Church. Shann has written individual works regarding parts of the church practices and has organized them in a helpful manual. Shann included notes about the layout of the church, parts of the sanctuary, elements of worship, and roles of the clergy and laity.
