Biography

William Burt Pope was born in 1822.Tutor. His career path would lead him down several avenues. The son of a Wesleyan missionary, he would be ordained in the Methodist Church and lead in various capacities. He would lead a church as its pastor. He would also become a tutor, translator, editor, and author. He would write a “Compendium of Christian Theology” and “Higher Catechism of Theology.” His impact on the lives of believers and the church is the subject of books such as “The Rev. W. B. Pope, D.D. Theologian, and Saint” by R. W. Ross. After suffering for a long time due to an illness, Pope died in 1903.
