Biography

The Dutch mystic Gerlac Peterson was born around 1377. Peterson spent much time in prayer. He developed skills in calligraphy. He clerked in a monastery and transcribed manuscripts. Peterson authored the Divine Soliloquies of Gerlac Peterson, which reflect on mysticism and the spiritual side of life. Peterson died in 1411.
