Biography

Andrew Miller is probably best known for his literary works on the history of the early church. Interestingly, Miller was converted to Christianity while attending a “house church.” A friend invited Miller to a weekly Bible study held in the friend’s home. He joined the Brethren. For quite some time Miller pastored a Baptist church as a volunteer. He was a part of the Revival of 1859-60. His testimony of coming to faith was useful in bringing others to Christ. As he neared his transition to Glory, it is reported that his last words were, “Nothing counts but Christ.” Miller lived from January 1810 to May 1883.
