Expositor's Bible: The Epistles of St. Peter

The Epistles of St. Peter is part of the original fifty volumes known as The Expositor's Bible, edited by Sir W. Robertson Nicoll. J. Rawson Lumby wrote this commentary on the Epistles of Peter. This edition was published in 1893. The preface explains the context of Peter's epistles and reasons to believe the apostle Peter is the author of each epistle. Lumby expounds upon each verse of these two letters, often referencing the original Greek. The explanations of the content of these two letters are divided between the 30 chapters of this commentary.
