Tafereelen uit De Heilige Schrift is a mixture of artwork and commentary compiled by Abraham Kuyper. Kuyper has collected artist's conceptions of Biblical events and added his reflections on how the words of the biblical authors were translated into works of art. Artists such as José Villegas, Jan Luyken, and Pieter de Hondt are included in this series of publications from 1910 to 1912.
