Biography

Marcus Minucius Felix lived in Rome and became a lawyer. Details of his birth have been lost to the ages. His legacy is his book, Octavious, which was written in dialogue form. The dialogue is between a pagan and a Christian. Besides being an explanation of Christianity, the work has an emphasis on divine providence. Felix synthesized the writings of several authors into his dialogue. Felix's apologetics were influenced by many others, including Tertullian. Felix died in or about the year 250.
