Elizabeth of the Trinity
Biography
Elizabeth of the Trinity (Elisabeth Catez) was born in France in 1880. Following the early death of her father, her family moved to a home near The Discalced Carmelite monastery. Elizabeth's sole desire was to join the Carmelites, which she did in 1901. Her life would be cut short due to illness. Elizabeth died at the age of 26 in 1906. But she lived an exemplary life, so much so that she would eventually be canonized by the Catholic church and given the title of"Saint" in 2016. His love for God in all aspects of life and her deep understanding of the Trinity would be the legacy of her short life.Wailand Groenendyk
