Biography

Puritan Thomas Brooks was born in England in 1608. Records indicate he attended Emmanuel College and then served as a chaplain with the British fleet. He became a pastor in London and wrote several books. He wrote Heaven on Earth, The Secret Key to Heaven, Precious Remedies Against Satan's Devices, and the six-volume set of The Works of Thomas Brooks, just to name a few. Brooks died in March of 1680.
