Biography

Australian-born Frank William Boreham has over fifty published works as well as several thousand articles. Born in 1871 to a storytelling mother and curious father, these traits would lend to his writing skills. His grandfather's love for reading the Bible also impacted the young Boreham. Due to a lack of finances, Boreham had to leave school to get a job as a clerk in a brickyard. It is there that he suffered a terrible accident, causing him to lose a foot. He recovered and went on to great kingdom work. He began street preaching. Charles Spurgeon encouraged Boreham to attend Pastor's Training College. He served several congregations over the years. His writings continue to be used by pastors for sermon illustrations and enhancement. F.W. Boreham died on May 18, 1959. His works are too numerous to list here, but a few to highlight would be My Pilgrimage, I Forgot to Say, and Dreams at Sunset.
