Expositor's Bible: The First Book of Samuel

by W.G. Blaikie

Expositor's Bible: I Samuel (1888) is part of the original fifty volumes known as The Expositor's Bible, edited by W. Robertson Nicoll. This commentary on the book of I Samuel is the work of William Garden Blaikie, a professor at New College, Edinburgh. The thirty-one chapters of I Samuel are divided into thirty-four chapters in this work. For example, Chapter 31, entitled"David Twice Spares the Life of Saul," expounds upon I Samuel 24 and 26.
