Anna Letitia Aikin Barbauld
Biography
Anna Laetitia Barbauld (nee Aikin) was born in England in 1825. She was an outstanding poet who focused on the political and social climate of her day. She married a protestant pastor from France. Using her literary skills, she wrote hymns such as"Life, I Know Not What Thou Art." Barbauld spent time editing Poetical Works by William Collins and British Novelists. Barbauld died on March 9, 1825, in a city close to London.Wailand Groenendyk
