Biography

Aristotle was a tutor to Alexander the Great. Aristotle's knowledge and skills in many areas made his writings invaluable. He wrote about philosophy, psychology, economics, the natural sciences, and the arts. Many of his concepts shaped the evolution of science as we know it today. His passion for education had a profound influence on the church and its emphasis on scholasticism. Aristotle has been called the"First Teacher,""The Philosopher," and"The Master of those who know." He lived from 384 to 322 BC.
