Here is an English translation of the Septuagint. The Septuagint is the Greek translation of the Hebrew Old Testament. The Septuagint is also known as LXX (Roman numerals for 70), so named for the Jewish scribes who worked on the Hebrew to Greek translation in Alexandria in the 3rd century under Egypt's pharaoh, Ptolemy II.
