Biography

Tony Marshall Anderson was born in Westport, Kentucky, on April 30, 1888. His evangelist career spanned at least two denominations: the Methodist Episcopal Church and the Church of the Nazarene. His primary focus in ministry was"Prayer." Not just praying but tapping into the power and potential of prayer. Anderson was a professor at Ashbury Theological Seminary. During his career, Anderson wrote several books and pamphlets on a variety of subjects, but the majority were on some aspect of prayer. Just shy of his 91st birthday, Anderson died on April 14, 1979.
