Biography

Isbon Thaddeus Beckwith was born in 1843. Through his university studies, he earned a Ph. D. as well as a Doctorate of Divinity. He became a clergyman in the Protestant Episcopal Church. He spent some time at the General Theological Seminary in New York as a professor of New Testament Interpretation. He was also employed by Trinity College in Hartford as a professor of Greek. Beckwith authored The Apocalypse of John (1919) which was both an exegesis and critical commentary. Beckwith passed away in 1936.
