Aquarii

AQUARII, ɑ-cwê´ri-ai (“Water People”): The name given by Philastrius (Hær., lxxvii.; cf. Augustine, Hær., lxiv.; Prædestinatus, lxiv.) to certain Christians who used water instead of wine in the Lord’s Supper.
