PSALM 111

Hallelujah

1 א I will celebrate Jehovah with my whole heart, ב In the congregation of the just, and in the assembly.

2 ג Great are the works of Jehovah, ד Sought out of all who have pleasure in them.

3 ה Beautiful and honorable ³⁸⁰³⁸⁰     Literally, “beauty and honour.” is his work; ו And his righteousness endureth for ever.

4 ז He hath made a memorial by his wonderful works: ח Merciful and compassionate is Jehovah.

5 ט A portion he hath given to those who fear him: י He will remember for ever his covenant.

6 כ The might of his works he hath proclaimed to his people, ל To give them the heritage of the heathen.

7 מ The works of his hands are truth and judgment: נ True are all his statutes,

8 ס And established for ever — ע Made in truth and rectitude.

9 פ Redemption he hath sent to his people; ץ He hath commanded for ever his covenant: ק Holy and terrible is his name.

10 ר The beginning of wisdom is the fear of Jehovah; ש A good understanding have all those who do them: ת His praise endureth for ever.
