composing, with much levity and learning, the articles of
ABÉLARD, FOULQUES, HELOISE in his Dictionnaire Critique.
The dispute of Abelard and St. Bernard, of scholastic and
positive divinity, is well understood by Mosheim (Institut.
Hist. Eccles. p. 412 - 415).
