Photius: The Bibliotheca
Edited by Roger Pearse
Portions © Les Belles Lettres, Paris
The first 165 codices of this work were translated into English by J.H. Freese. The remainder have not been made English. However there is a complete French translation, by René Henry. From time to time people ask me what this says for various codices.
For the benefit of those unable to read French, I have obtained the permission of Les Belles Lettres, who hold Henry's copyright, to translate this and place the result online at this site. I don't suppose I will ever translate the lot:-- however you can have what I have done. Material that is in copyright is marked as such.
