THE

OXFORD CONCORDANCE

TO THE

OLD AND NEW TESTAMENTS.

BASED UPON

CRUDEN'S CONCORDANCE,

and containing over 25,000 references to the more important passages of holy scripture.

"Comparing Spiritual things with Spiritual."—1 Cor. ii. 13.

This Concordance has been specially prepared for the Delegates of the Clarendon Press. As it is intended to be used conjointly with the Oxford Index which precedes it in this volume, all references to proper names, &c. included in the latter have been designedly omitted from the former. In order to save space, the plan has been adopted of including under a single reference word all its immediate derivatives, such as adjectives and adverbs, and in the case of a verb, all its various tenses: e.g. under strive, see also striveth, striven, strivings; under first, see also first-fruits, &c.
