Moody’s Anecdotes and Illustrations (1899) revised edition edited by Rev. J. B. McClure is a compilation of D. L. Moody’s “best” stories. The anecdotes and illustrations are alphabetically arranged by topical headings such as “Deliverance” and “Excuses.” Under each heading are the “Gold” nuggets gleaned from Moody’s sermons and writings. This revised edition has an additional forty pages of Moody’s skilled used of the language.
