RULES FOR THE CONSOLATION OF THE TEMPTED.

§ 1. Diligence in custody of the heart.

§ 2. Sorrow in desire; that is to say, sorrow is true when reason vehemently desires to grieve for sin, and to have an intellectual hatred of it.
