by Henry M. Baird

This is Volume I of the two volumes that make up the History of the Rise of the Huguenots that was written by Henry M. Baird. This work is divided into twelve chapters. The"Contents" pages list many of the topics or events contained in each chapter, making it easy to locate a particular French King's influence or event to research or read about. The New York Tribune's extensive review (1879) of this book is included in the opening pages of this volume.
