Biography

Scottish-born and German-educated William Milligan authored a commentary on the book of Revelation. As a teenager, he was working as a private teacher and tutor. Milligan was president of The Scottish Church Society, organized to promote and preserve the creeds and doctrine of the Catholic Church. Milligan promoted education and philanthropy. Throughout Scotland, many churches had Milligan as their guest pastor. Milligan lived from 1821 to 1893.
