Biography
Amy Beatrice Carmichael was born into a Christian family in 1867. The family lived in Ireland, where they established a church known as the Welcome Evangelical Church. Carmichael also evangelized many girls who worked in the Irish mills. Called to the India mission field, Carmichael would spend 55 years bringing the gospel to the people of India.
