presented
here with the kind permission of Mrs Vera Phillips
and the J B Phillips Estate
My interest
in J B Phillips came from using his highly-readable
translation of the New Testament, bought second-hand for 10
British pence, to explore the Gospels, Acts, Letters and the
Apocalypse. As an engineer and systems analyst, I wanted to
find out how the New Testament "worked". The results of my
researches follow - Gordon Smith (2014)
