Adela Cathcart, Volume 2 is another installment of George MacDonald's"fairy tales" and short stories woven into a single story narrated by the character, John Smith. A variety of characters are developed throughout the story, including the depressed Adela and the crotchety Mrs. Cathcart. The seven delightful chapters of this book lead one on a successful quest to find true joy. It is a good read for many age groups.
